When we last left our hero, he had signed with Minc Talent for commercial representation!

SINCE THEN -

In December I did a thing in Vegas for T-Mobile the week before CES and was driven around by CEO John Legere. I told him I wasn't one of his customers. He was ok with that, or so I hope. First job since getting representation! Happy Xmas to me!

Early February - I became an uncle to my beautiful niece VIOLET! She is tiny and great and every thing about her makes me happy!

Mid-February! Booked a gig in Omaha, Nebraska for Methodist Hospital! Such a fun shoot! Omaha is so quiet and so different from LA. Really nice little getaway from the chaos back home. The team at Torchwerks was so kind to me! Now that I think about it, every person I met on this job was super nice and made the whole experience wonderful!

I also started hosting another show at Super News called "Nintendawgs" with my great friend Phill Correa, and as you can guess, we are dawgs who love Nintendo. Tune in Tuesdays at 12pm PST to watch us play all sorts of great Nintendo games and be the lovable goofs you know us to be!

Speaking of which! It's March! The Nintendo Switch has come out and I seriously can't stop playing Zelda! Can't stop won't stop!

I also took new headshots with the AMAZING Leah Huebner! Please check out her work at huebnerheadshots.com. I had such a wonderful time with her. She was able to get some real good looks outta this potato wearing glasses.

In addition to those, I took some couples headshots with Holly, who also had her headshots taken, and DAMN if I'm not the luckiest guy on earth to be loved by such a beautiful person! Thank you, thank you, thank you Leah! You're the best!

As always, thanks for popping by to catch up on my journey. Thanks for your support! And thanks for understanding the half year gaps between posts.

See you in 6 months!

Ya boy's got representation!

GOOD NEWS EVERYONE!

I've signed with Minc Talent for commercial representation! And you know what that means? I now have the opportunity to audition more and WORK more!!!

Can't tell you how excited and thankful I am for this opportunity! My agent Melissa is super cool and the smartest person I have ever met. I am really looking forward to working with her in this next chapter of my career as it develops!

Cheers!

Hawaii! Inappropriate Shit! and other news!

ALOOOOHA!!

I'm going to be stuck in Hawaii mode for a while. Just got back from my honeymoon with Holly a couple of days ago! Neither of us had been to Hawaii before, so it made perfect sense that we'd choose this as our romantic getaway destination! Did I forget to mention that we stayed at the Disney Aulani Resort? I didn't? Oh, WELL WE STAYED THERE AND IT WAS BEYOND WONDERFUL! If you know Holly and I at all, then you know we love all things Disney. Ever since we found out about Disney building this place over 5 years ago, we've had it on our list of places to visit! Thanks to the generous contributions of our wedding guests to our honeyfund, we were finally able to go and it was incredible! Holly and I both started crying out of gratitude upon entering our hotel room. There are no words to describe how fortunate and thankful we feel for this wonderful experience.

I wish I could have this sunset view more often than not. Absolutely beautiful.

I wish I could have this sunset view more often than not. Absolutely beautiful.

This past week was also the launch of a webseries called, "Inappropriate Shit!" I was lucky enough to be able to play with the Inappropriate people behind this fun project in an episode called "Death Bed". I thank my director, Michael Demas, for asking me to play along with the hysterical Don Monroe and my great friend, the equally hysterical, Phill Correa. Please check it out and support this damn funny webseries, involving some of the funniest people I have the great fortune to know and call my friends!

Last bit of news is bittersweet! I will no longer be hosting "Star Wars is Rad" for SuperNews by Movie Pilot. Bummer, I know, but it's all for good reason! I will continue to co-host "Talk Disney to Me" with Holly (the better half of the Disney Couple) and rumor has it we're going to be kickin' it into high gear with more episodes, maybe even some more that are LIVE FROM THE PARKS THEMSELVES!!! And technically speaking, Disney owns Star Wars, so you better believe that I'm going to talk about anything and everything from a galaxy far, far away! Stay tuned for more updates on that and as always thanks for supporting the show!

Until next time! Aloha and mahalo!

six months later...

I'm still alive everyone! Man, this blog is proving to be more challenging for me to maintain than I thought. I find that I never give myself the time to just sit and write. Maybe I feel weird talking about myself like this in an update format. I say thatI'll be better about it, but then six months go by so... maybe the plan will be to not take such a long hiatus between updates? It's not as if nothing has happened over the past six months. SO MUCH HAS!

MAY 15, 2016 - I MARRIED MY BEST FRIEND AND THE LOVE OF MY LIFE! The majority of my time leading up to the wedding was spent making sure that everything on the day would be unforgettable and magical for my wife (and for me too). The result - SUCCESS!! It was the greatest day of my life and I have never cried so much from love and happiness before! I'll share photos of our favorite moments when we receive them!

SOMETIME IN JULY - A Red Vines spot I shot a while back had been making the rounds on Facebook as a sponsored video! That's pretty awesome! Maybe you've seen me munching on some Red Vines before you watch a video from Buzzfeed or Bored Panda!

JULY 11, 2016 - Holly and I did our first episode as the hosts of TALK DISNEY TO ME hosted at Super News by Movie Pilot! It's recorded live and we talk to people about a myriad of Disney topics all through the Facebook live streaming feature. What a sweet ass gig to have! Holly and I were both Disney kids growing up and it's also been an important part of our relationship! I mean, I proposed to her at Disneyland and our wedding theme was contemporary Snow White. Super fun show to do and the people who join us in our discussions are the absolute best! It's Mondays at 10 AM PST/ 1PM EST. Please check it out!!

AUGUST 8, 2016 - This awesome series of spots for ZOHO that Holly and I worked on with our great friend Steven Bailey went live! ALSO THEY'VE BEEN PLAYING DURING THE OLYMPICS ON NBC!!!! HOW COOL IS THAT??? So I guess this is my first national commercial then!

AUGUST 11, 2016 - I began hosting another live video at Super News called STAR WARS IS RAD.  It's every Thursday morning at 10AM PST/ 1PM EST and all I do is talk about STAR WARS!!! Easy enough for me because I love Star Wars just about as much as you'd expect a grown man with full jedi robes to. I've only done a couple of episodes of the show but I've been loving it and having a ton of fun interacting with people who watch it live!

Well, now you're up to speed on what's happened/ been happening for the past six months! I'll do my best to keep up with this thing, or at the very least update it more frequently than every six months!

Cheers!

Bite The Hand is out!

Hello! Hello!

I have been so terrible at updating the blog. The holidays definitely took up a lot of my attention as well as planning for the wedding. We're a little over three months away! Time has been moving by so quickly, it's unbelievable! Maybe that's why I haven't updated in a while. Time has moved in the blink of an eye. I'm sure May will be here just as fast and I can't wait!

I would like to present to you the final version of Bite The Hand. I'm so proud of the work of everyone involved. The crew were some of the most professional people you'll meet. My cast mates were super fun to work with. I can't find enough ways to praise our director, Eli Smith. He's a man with a vision and I am beyond grateful for him allowing me to take part.

Check it out below! Enjoy!

New Photos!

Hello all!

It's been a while since I've updated the blog, so here I am, doing just that!

I just recently got some new headshots taken with the talented Scott Ferrara. I'm sure you'll have noticed them peppered throughout the site. I cannot tell you how incredibly kind, professional, and absolutely committed he was during this entire process, not to mention completely accommodating when it came to me freaking out over the teeniest of details.

We spent part of the morning into the afternoon having our session in his home studio along with his wonderful wife Caitlin (who so kindly took care of the make up for the session). I also met one of his two cats, who became my friend very quickly after realizing how good I was at scratching! They made me feel so comfortable during this session. I have a hard time feeling genuine when taking photos sometimes, but Scott used every trick in the book to ensure that I wasn't giving awkward, forced smiles. We had such a great time and I believe that is evident in these new photos.

Many thanks to Scott and Caitlin for a great experience and taking on the task of making this mug of mine look good!

Should you ever be in the need for great headshots at a fair price, go ahead and check out his work -  http://www.scottferraraphotography.com/   You'll be very happy you did.

This look came straight from my engagement photos! Scott loved them so much that he wanted to get me in this outfit during our session! I'm so glad he did because this is one of my favorites!

Bite The Hand

Here's some cool news! The trailer for Bite the Hand has been released! I worked on this short film not too long ago with some incredible people that I am fortunate to call my friends. Directed by Elias Smith and also starring Nick Feld and Akende Munalula. It's a post-apocalyptic tale of survival, so naturally that required enough dirt caked on me to look like my face was covered in poop.

Take a look! I can't wait to share the full film!

Tying the Knot with Holly

I'm trying to get in the habit of putting up more posts so that you may get a glimpse behind the veil that is Rad. So what better way to get to look into my heart and soul than by hearing me gush about the person to whom my heart belongs to?

Beyonce once said "If you like it then you shoulda puta ring on it." And that is precisely what I did. After seven years of dating, Holly and I are getting motherfucking married (sorry for the vulgarity, I'm just so damn excited)! Technically, it will have been eight years before the wedding day.

Without sounding terribly cliche, she is without a doubt, the love of my life. Over the past seven years, she has become the best friend that I ever had. She knows me better than I know myself. She knows when I'm sad or stressed and she knows how to make me laugh. Why, right this moment she is singing the "Best of Friends" song from the Fox and the Hound, because she knows I am writing this. She gets me and I'm pretty sure I get her too, and that is why our relationship has already stood the test of time and will continue to do so and flourish.

She is absolutely gorgeous as is made evident by the photo below, every bone in her body is a funny one, she is an incredibly talented and inspirational artist, and she elevates me to being a good person in every way possible. I can't tell you how often I find myself feeling lucky that she is a part of my life. And the fact that she will be a part of my life for the rest of it means that I have all the luck in the world.

Life can be an absolutely bizarre, wonderful and terrifying thing, and it gives me immense comfort in knowing that whatever experiences come, I won't have to do it alone. And we'll probably end up laughing in the end.
